Labels:text | screenshot | number OCR: Figure 3. Here's a simple Channel Definition Format (CDF) file I used to experiment with at my Web site. When a user clicks on the Add Active Channel button shown to the lower left of the screen, the browser follows the link and downloads the file shown in the Notepad window that fills most of the screen. The COF file describes how the channel will be described in text to the user, provides pointers to the three differently sized logo files used to give the channel its brand identity, and goes on to provide pointers to the pages that should be downloaded and cached on the user's systems whenever the channel is updated.
